A guy I hold pads for from time to time is making his pro debut this Saturday in West Virginia. His name is Bryant Costello. I imagine this is both a nervous and exciting time for him. Anyone who has set themselves up for a big challenge will be plagued by fears of failing, but filled with excitement at the thought of performing for a crowd while doing what you really want to do. In this case, Bryant is fighting for both himself and his family. Sometimes getting a few extra bucks in your pocket to pay the bills is all the motivation a person needs.
Bryant will have Coach Jose Toledo of Untouchables Boxing Gym in his corner. Coach Toledo has been fine tuning Bryant’s boxing skills which, I believe, will secure him a win. Of course skills isn’t the only thing that gets the ‘W’, but seeing how much conditioning Bryant has done in preparation along with Jose Toledo’s coaching, should see him to victory. Or at the very least, a competitive fight. I just want to wish Bryant the best. Good luck man.
