Ortiz vs Berto
- I would like to apologize to Victor Ortiz for making him out to be a wannabe and someone who just expected the titles to come to him instead of having to work for him. You made me look like an idiot, but you made me a fan that night.
- Round Six is for sure going to be Round of the Year. I showed it to my father a few weeks ago and he kept replaying the final few seconds over and over. He couldn't believe the back and forth action that one round held.
- Andre Berto gained a lot of respect from the fans for this fight, but probably pissed it all away with his stupid Tweets suggesting that Ortiz might be on PED's.
And Andre, I don't know who you think you're kidding by trying to back-pedal and make it sound like you were saying, "Wow, he's like Popeye with spinach!" You lost a fight. It happens. Move on, shut up, fight harder.
Fight Camp 360: Pacquiao/Mosley
- This final episode showing what happened during and after the fight is probably why I like it more than the 24/7 series on HBO. I want to hear what's going on between rounds, what family members are saying in the stands and what reactions from everyone after the fight.
- I'm sorry, but do the members of Shane's entourage really think that he had a chance of winning?
- Something about Manny Pacquiao always showing up late and playing the "Oh, I'm late?" line just really rubs me the wrong way.
- I really can't understand how Pacquiao can be smiling all the time especially on the way to the ring.
- Jamie Foxx predicted Mosley in the fifth round. I predict that Jamie Foxx left the fight pissed off.
- Naziim Richardson kept shouting for Mosley to keep turning Pacquiao. Perhaps he should have told him to just punch him instead?
- "He's making you his f___ing b__ch!!!" Shane's girlfriend showed more fighting spirit than Shane.
- Richardson must have known that Mosley didn't believe Pacquiao was getting tired.
- "It ain't over...Shut up!!!" I told you Jaime Foxx was going to be pissed.
- I hold the opinion that Kenny Bayless is perhaps the best referee in the game today. However he REALLY blew that so-called "knockdown" in the tenth round.
- Shane Mosley wanted to stop the fight but Richardson insisted not to because Shane is "cut from a different cloth". Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Pep. All time great fighters who at one point in their careers were stopped. What cloth are we talking about exactly?
- Props to Kenny Bayless for admitting he messed and props to Pacquiao for being totally cool about it.
- "Pacquiao didn't do s__t either. What did he do?" I guess Shane's girlfriend forgot the part where her man was on the canvas and when she screamed that Pacquiao was making him his...you know what I mean.
- OK, that is a nasty-ass blister. It'd be one thing if it was a blister you get from new shoes but...Shane's foot looked like it had the plague.
- Shane Mosley plans to take a vacation and enjoy the fruits of his labour... I guess he was talking about the fight. OK, I've ranted about this topic long enough.
Mayweather vs Ortiz
- I was at home when I heard about this fight. My immediate reaction: "Oh bulls__t!"
- It's pretty safe to say that whoever Floyd picks to fight, if it's not Manny Pacquiao, then he's going to be criticized.
- I personally didn't see this fight happening until Floyd was through with all his fights with the justice system, especially after defying a judge's order to testify in his case with Manny Pacquiao.
- I personally hope they release the transcripts of Roger Mayweather's testimony. It's going to be hilarious hearing him explain "A-Side Meth" and then answer a lawyer's question by asking the lawyer who the first person to win titles in four different divisions was.
- The answer to that question is Thomas Hearns.
