I just moved further into the city and I'm exploring my options for boxing gyms. LA Boxing is close to my home, and even though they're a little pricey between very specific equipment and membership dues, they seem like a good gym.

I went and checked them out briefly a few years ago when I considered moving up this way and then didn't get to for a long time, but now since I'm in the neighborhood I'm planning another tour and wondered if anyone had thoughts/experiences for them?

More specifically.... everyone from the trainers to the other members were nice and helpful. The instructor, Danny, put us through a serious no-mercy kickboxing workout that had me going for water at least five times (out of practice at this!) and frankly I CANNOT WAIT to go back! Tomorrow is Round 2!
