The jab can be thrown many different ways; high, low, upward, etc.. The mechanics of the jab varies from coach to coach. If you have a video of yourself throwing the jab, on YouTube perhaps, give us the link so we can see how YOU throw the jab. We'll critique one another in a friendly manner. So let's see those jabs!

I am friends with you on Facebook. I have my "workout" videos on there. If you would like to give me some critique could you view the "Things I like to hit video". I have been reading the information on your/this site and have made a lot of progress since I made that video. However, I am still very new to Hitting bags (1 year) and can use any useful criticism.

I viewed my video in its entirety and then read your instruction again on punching. I was punching with my wrist turning!

Yesterday I hit for 10 1/2 mins (no rest) focusing on the corkscrew motion with jabs and cross punches and had a great session.
