Improving his record to 15-3-0 after his impressive win this past Saturday against Grover Young in Washington D.C., Dwayne “Big Ticket” McRae is willing to take on tough fighters. McRae is a heavyweight from Laurel, Maryland. He turned pro in 2008. He grew up super rough and was shot in the knee before his pro debut. He’s 34 now, but is planning to step up next year to a significant fight. On a personal level, Dwayne turned it around from the troubled streets to becoming a religious family man.
Dwayne McRae had a very unusual fight in 2013 when he and Dennis Benson got caught in a clinch along the ropes and could not be broken up, sending McRae, Benson, and referee Bill Clancy to the canvas at 0:05 of the first round. Both fighters were disqualified, resulting in a no-contest.
