Jacobs vs. Quillin – That was quick…

NewsIconIn the main event of a Showtime card at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York,  WBA middleweight title-holder Danny Jacobs stopped former WBO middleweight title-holder Peter Quillin in less than 90 seconds.  Jacobs (31-1, 28 KOs) damaged Quillin with a right hand as soon as the fight started.  Quillin tried to throw some hay makers in retaliation, but missed just about everything.  Referee Harvey Dock called the fight off with the fighter still standing, but clearly wobbly and out on his feet.  Check out the replay after the break.

Also last night, Chris Algieri defeats Erick Bone.  Here’s the fight.
