Looking for a boxing gym? Try this.

SmallGloveI get emails several times a month from someone asking how to find a boxing gym.  You would think locating a boxing gym in your area wouldn’t be that difficult, but I know first hand that if you don’t live in a big city, finding a legitimate place that trains people for amateur boxing matches isn’t the easiest thing to do.   I used to send people to a certain website which is now defunct.  The good news is that the following website is the best resource for finding a USA Boxing certified gym.

Go to http://www.teamusa.org/USA-Boxing/Membership/Find-A-Club

The site is easy enough to use: choose the state you live then the listing will be ordered alphabetically.  Good luck and let me know of your progress.

  1. Nice share. Everyone tells you to just “Google” for a boxing gym, however, some of the smaller gyms (which often have awesome training) don’t have a big online presence. Hopefully the teamusa.org site has these guys covered.

We recently published a post on finding a good boxing gym that your audience might find useful once they’ve got their list of gyms:
