On this day in BOXING history: Saddler vs. Elorde II – 1956

Today in boxing history Sandy Saddler stops Flash Elorde in round 13 to retain the featherweight championship of the world in 1956. This was a rematch to a non-title fight from the previous year with Elorde won by a ten round decision.
