On this day in BOXING history: Walcott vs. Charles III – 1951

On this day in boxing history in 1951, Jersey Joe Walcott knocks out Ezzard Charles in round 7 to win the heavyweight championship.  It was their third match and Walcott’s fifth attempt to win the title.  Fight below.
